I work at a weed store, study programming, and make music in whatever time is left. This blog is where I make sense of all of it.
My name is Sow Jirasit. I’m based in Thailand, building a life that doesn’t follow a single clear path — and I’ve stopped pretending it should.
Most days look something like this: a shift at work, a few hours studying code, and whatever energy is left goes into music. It’s a lot. It’s also exactly what I chose.
I started this blog because I couldn’t find many people writing honestly about what it actually feels like to be building something from nothing — not the highlight reel, not the success story after the fact, but the messy middle. The part where you’re figuring it out one day at a time and you’re not sure it’s working yet.
That’s what you’ll find here.
This blog covers a few things I actually care about:
Life stories — things that happened, what I took from them, what I’d do differently.
Growth — what I’m learning, what I’m unlearning, and the slow process of getting better at being a person.
Music — why I make it, what it means to create something nobody might ever hear, and occasionally the music itself.
There’s no single niche here. The niche is the story. Story we all have. If that sounds like something you want to follow, stick around.
If you’re also building something — a skill, a habit, a version of yourself you haven’t become yet — then we’re probably after the same thing.
Start with the stories. See if anything lands.
